Plant City Chamber Launches First-Ever Women in Business Networking Lunch
The Plant City Chamber is excited to introduce a brand-new event designed to celebrate, connect, and empower women in business throughout Plant City and the surrounding communities.
On Thursday, June 11, the Chamber will host its inaugural Women in Business Networking Lunch, bringing together entrepreneurs, professionals, community leaders, and supporters for an afternoon filled with inspiration, collaboration, and high-energy networking.
This special event will feature women-owned businesses from across the region through a business expo designed to encourage attendees to connect, learn more about local companies, and support women-led enterprises making an impact in our community.
One of the highlights of the luncheon will be an exclusive fireside chat with Kourtney Sanchez, current Chief Impact Officer for the Glazer Family Foundation and recently announced incoming CEO of United Way Suncoast, effective June 1. Kourtney has become widely recognized for her leadership, philanthropic impact, and dedication to strengthening communities across the Tampa Bay region.
Attendees will hear firsthand about her professional journey, leadership experiences, and the importance of investing in people and communities.
In addition to networking and the fireside chat, the event will include:
- Women-owned business expo tables
- Interactive networking opportunities
- A complimentary photo booth experience provided by Premier Avenue Events
- Community-building experiences designed specifically for working women
Expo tables are available to both Chamber members and non-members, creating an opportunity for businesses of all sizes to showcase their products and services to a diverse and engaged audience.
As an added benefit, all participating Chamber member businesses will receive a complimentary listing in the Chamber’s “Woman-Owned” business directory, helping spotlight and promote women-led businesses throughout the year.
The Chamber hopes this event will serve as the beginning of a larger initiative focused on creating stronger connections and continued support for women in business across the region.
“We wanted to create something that feels different from a traditional luncheon,” said Jerilyn Rumbarger, President & CEO of the Plant City Chamber of Commerce. “This event is designed to foster real relationships, meaningful conversations, and opportunities for women to support and learn from one another.”
The Women in Business Networking Lunch is expected to draw strong attendance, and early registration is encouraged.
