Equip Used: Flexographic press  and Gallus 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Reviews and interprets information on job-sheets and ensures proper set up of the press
  2. Select proper Anilox rolls, printing stock and print sleeves
  3. Prepare ink vats in proper order to match print deck location and ink up press
  4. Check quality specifications
  5. Place roll tags on rolls
  6. Responsible for ensuring the press units are operating efficiently while producing product that conforms to quality standards
  7. Records and tracks all footage printed, pounds of ink used and quality samples
  8. Mounts printing plates, adds ink, adjusts PH and viscosity of ink to maintain conformity and quality
  9. May mix ink for custom colors as needed
  10. Constantly monitors web inspection cameras and strobes to ensure print quality is meeting requirements
  11. Responsible for adjusting plates and impression to ensure quality and proper registration
  12. Load and unload print sleeves from press and storage rack, and rolls of material from press
  13. During print, operate the un-wider and loading rolls of substrate 
Education Required (high school, college degree, training, or certifications requirements)
  1. High school diploma or equivalent
Experience Required (years of experience, specific industry or previous job experience requirements)
  1. 5+ years of related mechanical, manufacturing and/or printing experience
Preferred Education, Experience or Skills (preferred degree(s), software, experience, equipment, etc)
  1. Knowledge of flexographic press operations preferred
