Maureen Famiano is an award-winning media specialist, expert and author. She's been in the broadcast arena for more than 30 years. She was a television news reporter, producer, and executive producer. She began her career in New York before coming to Tampa Bay in 1996. She worked locally at NBC - WFLA News Channel 8 for 17 years as a news producer and executive producer of shows like Daytime, Star Watch and Reel Animals Fishing. She was also executive producer of the local CBS show Great Day Live for almost 4 years. In her time in morning show television, she personally booked close to 15,000 guests on her shows and worked on creating impactful segment messaging to leave a lasting impression with the audience.
 
Maureen is also a #1 International Best-Selling Author.
She co-authored the book, Best Business Minds in Tampa Bay and it's a #1 Best Seller. 
She also co-authored the book, Step into Your Brilliant Purpose launched in March and that made it to the coveted #1 International Best-Selling Status.
 
In March she delivered a TEDx Talk on life's journey and the WHAT IF scenario of life and your purpose to believe in possibilities.
 
She began her own company MEFMedia after many guests wanted her to be a consultant to their companies. They liked what she offered and wanted more. In creating MEFMedia, Maureen now oversees the branding and strategy building of a company and helps put the spotlight on a business, solopreneur or individual with media outreach and interviews. Her efforts get results. Ellen Degeneres, The Today Show, Newsweek and Lady Gaga's team have taken notice.
