Description

Destination Aviation Camps offer a flight opportunity for all participants.  Each camp offers a day or residential option.  Classroom ground school instruction includes aircraft familiarization, cockpit instruments, aerodynamics, and flight simulators.  The flight opportunity will be in a Piper Cherokee with campers piloting a cross-country course over the east coast of Florida.  Two to three campers fly a "leg" of the course in "dual instruction" from a certified Flight Safety International instructor.  The campers loggable flight experience may include approximately 20 minutes of flight time and a takeoff and landing.  Camp concludes on Friday with camper presentations and an open house for families to tour the Aerospace Center for Excellence.
