Lissette's journey in healthcare began at the age of 18 when she started working as a Certified Nursing Assistant shortly after becoming a young mother. Determined to create a better future for her family, she moved to Florida about 25 years ago in search of new opportunities and a better life. Over the years, she worked hard to grow within the healthcare field, gaining experience and education that allowed her to advance step by step—from CNA to Medical Assistant, then becoming a Birthing Doula, and ultimately achieving her goal of becoming a nurse. Along the way, she was fortunate to have a wonderful mentor who guided and encouraged her, helping shape the path that led her to where she is today as a Health and Wellness Director. Lisette's passion has always been helping others and making a difference in people’s lives. Wanting to expand that impact even further, she decided to pursue her CPR instructor certification. This led her to proudly launch her own business, My Heart Skips a Beat, LLC, where she teaches life-saving CPR skills to individuals, families, and organizations. She truly enjoys empowering people with the knowledge and confidence to save lives.
