Fancy Farms, one of Wish Farms’ premier strawberry growers, will be holding their 9th Annual 4-H Strawberry U-Pick on Saturday, March 26th from 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Fancy Farms in Plant City.
The Grooms family is opening their strawberry fields to the public to raise money for Hillsborough County 4-H Youth and area Food Banks. This is the only day of the Florida strawberry season that Fancy Farms is open for a u-pick. Funds raised help host the annual 4-H banquet among other events and provide youth scholarships.
Individuals picking for themselves will pay $TBD per quart, with containers furnished. There is no limit to the number of quarts. Participants are also encouraged to pick, at no charge, for the food banks.
Stock up on berries to enjoy all summer long.
