DESCRIPTION:Join the American Cancer Soceity and amazing community volunteers as we host our 21st Relay For Life event in Plant City.\n\n\n\nRelay For Life is the largest and most successful community fundraising event in the United States.  Relay For Life of Plant City is currently ranked #25 in the Southeast Region (Florida\, Georgia\, North Carolina\, South Carolina\, Virginia\, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands) and #1 in Hillsborough County!  \n\n\n\nOur event begins with moving opening ceremonies at 6pm where you will hear from our honorary survivor and other guest speakers.\n\n\n\nThen we honor our cancer survivors and their caregivers with a special lap around the track and they then attend a FREE dinner donated by local businesses.  \n\n\n\nAt 9pm\, we hold our emotional luminaria ceremony where we honor and remember thoses we've lost.  If you would like to submit a memorial picture\, please e-mail bonnie.gibson@cancer.org.\n\n\n\nIn between and all night long\, we symbolize the struggle that cancer patients face by walking the track.  Cancer never sleeps and neither do we!  Along the track\, our amazing teams have set up "campsites" that have a variety of items for purchase to help us acheive our fundraising goals.\n\n\n\nRelay For Life fundraising goes towards services and programs for cancer patients and survivors and groundbreaking research.  \n\n\n\nFor more information please call 813-425-0251 or 863-500-0199.
