DESCRIPTION:Improvement League of Plant City\, CDC will be hosting the 33rd Annual Plant City MLK Freedom Parade as part of the 11 day Plant City Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Festival.  The event bring residents\, businesses and leaders from all backgrounds together to celebrate Plant City's diversity and support of equality for all citizens.  The parade route begins in Historic Downtown (Wheeler/MLK Blvd) and proceeds east on MLK Blvd ending at the construction site of the Plant City MLK Sports Complex new community center\, 1601 E. Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd.  With 6 local school marching bands\, League Float and various entries\, its sure to be a celebration for all.  \n\n\n\nWe are accepting parade entries through January 11\, 2019.  Applications available online\, Chamber of Commerce and Plant City Photo Archives.
