Set in the historic Brandon Homestead\, built in 1876 and currently home to Stowers Funeral Home\, this program features historians and local experts who will discuss the families that helped shape Plant City\, Tampa\, and Brandon.\n\n\n\nFeatured speakers include:\n\nGilbert Gott: Executive Director of the Plant City History & Photo Archives\n\nRodney Kite-Powell: Director of the Touchton Map Library at the Tampa Bay History Center and Hillsborough County's official historian\n\nMichael Wigh: Historian with Preserve Brandon \n\n\n\nTogether\, they will narrate the stories of the individuals who built communities\, established businesses\, and left enduring legacies in the area.\n\n\n\nThis event is presented in partnership with the Plant City History & Photo Archives. Preserve Brandon\, 7th Sky Ventures\, and the Tampa Bay History Center. It offers a wonderful opportunity to step back in time and gain a richer understanding of the country's history.\n\n\n\nAdmission: FREE\, but registration is required.\n\nCapacity: Limited to 50 guests\n\nRefreshments: Light bites and drinks will be provided.
