That is one in every 335 people on the planet.\n\n\n\nDid you know that only 1 to 2% of the victims are rescued?\n\nDid you know the rate of recidivism is extremely high? Many women return to\n\nprostitution because it is what they have known for so long and have no other option.\n\n"Free The Girls" is an organization that has developed a program that provides women\n\na chance to make a living selling bras in the second-hand marketplace to prevent a return\n\nto the prior lives. They journey with them on the path to independence and restore who\n\nthey were designed to be... whole\, worthy\, and FREE.\n\n\n\nBy receiving a starting inventory from the Free The Girls\, the women are able to become\n\nan entrepreneur in their own community that is an environment of women selling to\n\nwomen. This allows them a safe economic opportunity\, and for many\, provides not only\n\nfor themselves\, but their children as well.\n\n\n\nWhy bras? The countries the organization works with have few or no bra\n\nmanufacturers. As a result\, owning a bra is a luxury and a symbol of status. Women\n\nthat have the local resources are willing to pay for something we get rid of once we do\n\nnot need them anymore. An amazing second life for something that we dispose of\n\nregularly just because of fashion.\n\n\n\nDo you have a bra sitting in your drawer for a long time untouched? LOCATION:Now\, in order to continue collecting bras for them\, we have started a 'Bra drive' with 2 Drop off locations here in Plant City. The locations are: Dairy Queen 1902 W Reynolds St. Plant City\, Fl. 33563 On Site Accounting Inc. 104 N Evers St. #101 Plant City\, Fl. 33563 We already placed the bins at both places and they will be there through Monday February 5th which it is when we will collect the last donated bras before shipping them to the free the girls offices in Indiana.
